How to copy and paste...

Cutting and pasting is useful in many situations

You will find a number of uses for it on this site too, especially when you wish to send us stories or information typed into other documents.

HOW'S IT DONE?

  1. Run over some text, while holding down the left button of your mouse (on a PC computer).
  2. While still in this position with the text highlighted on your screen, use your left hand to execute these commands:
  3. Ctrl+C (this = Copy). Now the highlighted text is saved to memory, until you paste it somewhere.
  4. Ctrl+V (this = Paste). Move over to the window on our site, where you wish to place the text.
  5. Place your cursor inside the window.
  6. Use the Ctrl+V command, and your text magically appears.

See how easy that was?

  1. You can move texts around in your documents, and between documents.
  2. You can also copy text from the site and send it to your friends in an e-mail.
  3. It is best to type your story in a word processor program and then paste it into a window on the site. This way you can edit comfortably and keep a copy for your files.

  DON'T FORGET!
