Have you ever had the the feeling that you
are:
- The only one who finds it hard
to cope?
- The only manager who gets overwhelmed?
- The only physician wiping away
a tear?
- The only mother screaming at her
kids?
- The only one wanting to divorce
his/her mother-in-law?
There's a wonderful little story
about an elderly lady who was interviewed and asked about her long
marriage. "Did you ever consider divorce during those 57 years?"
she was asked. "NEVER! - but murder? Definitely!"
- Why does
that ring a bell, when we are supposed to be so happy at home and
successful outside?
- We're
not supposed to reach the point of wanting to wring the neck of
our spouse, child or boss... right?
The famous and late violinist,
Isaac Stern, has used the term "unashamedly human." And
that is what we ask you to be, here on these pages, where we share
our stories.
Reading others' stories makes us feel less alone and sharing our
own gets it all off our chests. Writing is excellent therapy - and
stories are great motivators.
I come from a family of storytellers, and it occurred to me recently
that stories have moved me through the process called "My Life."
